Description

To the classic Santa Cruz trek we add the ascent to Sentilo Hill, an experience to obtain panoramic views of the entire valley and the most important peaks such as Artesonraju, Alpamayo, Rinrihirca and Taulliraju.

In addition, to finish we will visit the Pisco base camp and with the option of ascending Pisco Mountain to finally finish by visiting the beautiful Laguna 69.


DAY 1: Departure from Huaraz to the Cashapampa village (2900 m.) Hike to Llamacorral camp (3700 m.)

DAY 2: Llamacorral, crossing of 2 lagoons, visit to the base camp of Alpamayo mount and lake Arhuaycocha (4600 m.) Taullipampa (4250m.)

DAY 3: Taullipampa ascent to Sentilo hill with excellent view of the mountains in the area (Artesonraju, Paria, Alpamayo, etc.) Return to Taullipampa

DAY 4: Taullipampa crossing Punta Unión pass (4750 m.) Excellent view and descent to Cachinapampa (3700 m.)

DAY 5: Cachinapampa to Vaquería villa (3700 m.), Transport to Cebollapampa in Llanganuco valley. Hime up to the base camp of Pisco mount (4650 m)

DAY 6: Optional ascento to Pisco mount (5750 m.), return to Pisco base camp (4650 m.). For people who do not ascend, there will be a free day to explore the area surrounding the Pisco base camp.

DAY 7: Hike to Laguna 69 (4600 m.), during the trail we get panoramic views of the Llanganuco valley and the highest mountains in Peru around. Descent to Cebollapampa (3900 m.) and return transport to Huaraz (3100 m.).
